One of the area’s on Indianapolis real estate I love to work with is Geist waterfront homes. In case you didn’t know, Geist is split into two distinct counties and more importantly two very different school districts. North of 96th street, Geist lies in the Hamilton Southeastern School district which is by most people’s perception a much better school district than its southern counterpart Lawrence Township. Now, the question I am going to attempt to answer today is: Does the school district affect desirability and resale value of waterfront homes on Geist?

Geist Fireworks - Fourth of July 2010 - Blast from the Bridge

The Geist Lake Coalition is celebrating its annual 4th of July fireworks show the “Blast on the Bridge” this coming Sunday July 4 2010. This year it looks like the weather is going to cooperate and should be a great night of family fun.
The Fall Creek bridge will close to vehicle traffic at 5:30 and the Bridge Party starts at 6:00. There will food and beverage vendors, a boat parade and a water ski show all before the main event. The fireworks themselves are set to go off at 10:00 pm.

This blog and website are going to focus on Geist real estate, Fishers, and Carmel real estate the majority of the time. In light of that, and since end of year is always a great time to produce some year over year numbers I thought I would start posting some subdivision reports. Today I am going to start off with the Geist neighborhood of Admirals Bay. Actually I am going to include some stats from Admirals Bay, Admirals Pointe, and Admirals Sound. Admirals Cove, Landing, and Woods will be included in the overall stats but not broken down individually.
