Steinmeier subdivision is a popular neighborhood located in Washington Township Indianapolis at the intersection of Allisionville Road and 71st Street on the city’s northeast side. The subdivision of Steinmeier consists of approximately 500 homes and range in price from the low 100’s to the 300’s. Approximately half of all homes in the Steinmeier subdivision are ranch homes while the majority are two story homes.
Steinmeier homes vary greatly not only price and size but also in terms of the size of their home sites. Abney Glen, a new West Carmel neighborhood - wow what a deal! Abney Glen, located at 116th and Shelbourne, is west Carmel’s newest Drees Homes community. A quick search of Carmel $400k - $600k real estate will show you what an amazing little gem this neighborhood is. Consisting of only 40 home sites, Abney Glen offers homes from the $400’s to the $600’s and they are on great lots. What is currently out there in Carmel real estate is either an older home that has zero updates (oak cabinets, brass everything, dirty carpet, you know the drill) with a pretty good lot and nice established landscaping or a newer home with decent interior selections on the worst, smallest, power lined lot on the street.
